“”I ate at the boot recently and found the food to be excellent, apparently they have a new chef and i have to say he is first class, i shall definitely be returning very soon. I would strongly recommend a visit “

New chef, new menu. Excellent choice of fish and meat dishes with interesting veg (none of your peas & carrots that used to plague The Boot). The pub has a terrific atmosphere enhanced by beams, an open fire and friendly locals. Pleasant and helpful staff plus three local beer.

We vistied The boot inn after reading about them in CMARA” The Good Beer Guide” 2012 issue, after 5 years they have made a return in to the guide. As avid real ale drinkers we were interested in trying their fantastic selection of real ales. A warm welcome and a selection of Hobsons Best which i was told was there standard Wye Valley HPA and Otter Amber which we have never tasted, a delightful beer which my husband enjoyed. I went for the Wye Valley HPA most refereshing. They also offered a tempting menu which this time we didnt eat but we will be returning to enjoy the the beer, food and wondeful atmosphere. We were also told of there Beer Festival which will be taking place in July.
